On-Board PMO, Incorporated in Towanda, PA, is hiring a full-time General Operator to support on-site manufacturing operations. The role covers operating a slitter line, handling heavy rolls, packaging, and maintaining safety and quality.

Must have a High School diploma or GED and be willing to work a 12-hour rotating swing shift; background checks and drug tests apply. We offer benefits including PTO, holidays, health benefits, 401K after probation, and life insurance, with a strong team

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Must be able to wear cleanroom suit & hood for 12 hours of labor.

Responsibilities

• Operate all elements of running a slitter.
• Transport wide stock weighing up to 1000 lbs on beam racks.
• Clean the slitter and thread up.
• Set clutches and position knives.
• Unload finished product rolls weighing 8–50 lbs.
• Inspect film for defects and slit rolls for packaging.
• Move buggies and palletize cases up to 5 high.
• Transport pallets to shipping area using pallet jack.

Position Details:

Position Type: Full Time

Job Location: Towanda, PA

Compensation: $19.00/ per hour

Schedule: 12-hour rotating swing shift

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• Perform all elements of running a slitter
• Transport wide stock that weigh 1000lbs on beam racks
• Cleaning the slitter and threading up
• Setting clutches and positioning knives
• Unloading finished product rolls that weigh from 8-50 lbs.
• Inspect film for defects
• Slit rolls are placed onto buggies
• Buggies are pushed/pulled to packaging area
• Performing all elements of packaging
• Consistently lifting finished product rolls weighing 8 – 50 lbs.
• Wrapping slit rolls in a polyethylene sheeting or sleeves
• Placing 1 to 4 rolls into a case
• Palletizing cases up to 5 high
• Transporting these pallets into the shipping area using a pallet jack

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred
• Must be able to wear cleanroom suit & hood for 12 hours of labor.
• Must be able to learn significant manufacturing knowledge for several slitters and the pack line.
• Must be willing to work in team environment.
• Must have a flexible attitude towards business needs requiring overtime or transforming to different areas on the plant.
• Must be able to complete a background check, drug test, and physical successfully
