AMT Inc. – a leading manufacturer of Precision Investment Castings – has an immediate opening for a Manufacturing Operator at our Sharon Springs, NY facility. The role is full-time hourly on the day shift in the grinding and finishing department, with training provided.

Candidates must be 18+ and have a high school diploma or GED. Prior investment casting experience is not required, but hands-on manufacturing skills are encouraged.

The position is full-time hourly on our day shift. The job will require working in our grinding and finishing department. Candidates must be 18 years or older and have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.

Investment casting experience is not required; however, anyone with a background with hand tools, metal working, manufacturing, and operations is encouraged to apply. Paid training is provided for all employees.

Responsibilities

• Report to and perform tasks as assigned by department supervisor
• Basic operation of hand tools and general manufacturing equipment
• Adhere to all company standards of conduct including adherence to safety standards
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Qualifications

• Outstanding work ethic and the ability to multi-task
• Ability to read and understand operating procedures and specifications with guidance from supervisor
• Ability to wear PPE including safety glasses, gloves, and a dust respirator
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to stay focused with strong attention to detail
