Our client, a leader in the chemical manufacturing industry, is seeking a Manufacturing Operator to join their team. As a Manufacturing Operator, you will be part of the Large Production Department supporting the production of high-quality chemical products. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, a proactive approach to safety, and a willingness to learn, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Manufacturing Operator

Location: Cleveland, OH

Duration: 6+ Months contract

What's the Job?

• Unload procured materials from delivery vehicles, inspect materials for quality defects, and verify labelled materials.
• Operate equipment such as reactors, solvent pumps, and centrifuges used in the production of chemical products.
• Produce chemical products utilizing allocated materials to pre-established purity and quality standards.
• Perform basic analytical analysis such as pH measurements to test chemicals and solutions.
• Maintain facility housekeeping by cleaning operating areas daily and following safety procedures.

• High School education or equivalent.
• Experience in chemical handling is required.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted and over 50 pounds with assistance.
• Willingness to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) for extended periods.
