Job description

The Process Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining plasma reactors and related equipment to produce high-quality dissociated zircon safely. Key duties include identifying and screening zircon sand, transferring and processing it through plasma reactors, and ensuring safe and efficient reactor operation. The operator will also replace carbon graphite, monitor cooling systems, maintain filtration systems, and handle the final product. Additional responsibilities include maintaining data logs, performing routine maintenance, and adhering to safety regulations.

Education, Experience, and Training

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Manufacturing skills such as blueprint reading, intermediate math skills (measuring in standard and metric units using calipers, tapes, micrometers), and basic computer skills are preferred.
• This position requires up to 3 months of work experience to become proficient in most phases of the job and work independently.
