Marshalls plc is seeking a Manufacturing Operative (Operations Team Member) for our St Ives site in Cambridgeshire, UK. The role starts at £16.06 per hour with benefits and involves a 12-hour day/night shift rotation.

Our team handles production operations at the UK’s leading landscaping product facility, with opportunities for training and development. The role emphasizes reliability in a shift-based team, adherence to safety standards, and effective communication across shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy Production/Manufacturing environment.
• Forklift truck license and experience essential.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a track record of working reliably within a shift based team.
• Effective communication skills (oral and written).
• Flexibility on shift rotation or night shift experience.
• Computer user with basic knowledge.
• IOSH qualification would be advantageous but not essential.

Manufacturing Operative (Internally known as Operations Team Member)

St Ives, Cambridgeshire

Salary: Starting £16.06 per hour + Benefits

Shifts: 12 hours Days/Nights rotation (detailed below)

What are the mission-critical skills?

• Experience working in a busy Production/Manufacturing environment


• Forklift truck license and experience is essential


• Strong interpersonal skills with a track record of working reliably within a shift based team structure


• Effective communication skills (oral and written)


• Flexibility on shift rotation or night shift experience will be required


• Computer user - basic knowledge required


• Safe to Supervise or IOSH qualification would be advantageous but not essential
