Job summary

Lipton Teas and Infusions in Suffolk, VA seeks an Operations Technician on 2nd or 3rd shift to operate and maintain Primary and Secondary Tea Packaging equipment, conveyors and palletizing lines. You will handle changeovers, troubleshoot, and participate in Autonomous Maintenance, working with a team to meet plant KPI targets and uphold safety and quality standards.

This role requires a high school diploma, 2+ years of operations experience, and the ability to lift 50 lbs; starting pay is $25.33

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• 2+ years operations experience.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all policies, procedures, safety, and sanitation rules.
• Report unsafe acts and conditions, correct if possible.
• Operate and maintain production assets including primary and secondary tea packaging equipment, conveyors, and palletizing lines.
• Achieve qualification level and complete training modules for assigned equipment.
• Coach and train teams on problem solving and troubleshooting techniques.
