Job summary

Stryker is seeking an Operations Supervisor, Manufacturing (1st Shift) in Irvine, CA to lead a PV manufacturing team, ensuring safety, quality and productivity.

Responsibilities include Lean-driven improvements, cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Quality, and Planning, and support for capacity planning and new product introductions. A bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline.
• 4+ years' experience in business, operations, or manufacturing, preferably in regulated environment.
• Lean/Six Sigma experience and process improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee daily manufacturing operations with emphasis on safety, quality, compliance, productivity, yield and cost targets.
• Foster a Quality First culture; ensure GMP compliance and proper production documentation.
• Manage capacity through workforce planning and equipment utilization; collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and traceability of components and finished goods.
• Develop and manage team performance; recruit, coach, and mentor staff while promoting a respectful work environment.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean, Kaizen, and other OPS excellence methods.
• Ensure equipment and measurement systems are calibrated and properly used.
• Participate in audits and support compliance activities; assist in budgeting for the area.
• Support growth initiatives including transfers and new product introductions; assist operational readiness.
