As a Supervisor - you'll be part of our Metals team working as an on-site employee. You'll get to:
This position will report to the Operations Manager but will interact with all required functions necessary to provide the shop floor with resources required to meet goals in the areas of safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
Full Safety Responsibility including: Promote Behavioral Based Safety throughout plant
Monthly Safety Trainings/Investigations
Complete Safety Incident Reporting
Supports continuous improvement philosophy driving lean manufacturing principles.
6S projects, SMED events, Kaizen
Responsible for manning requirements, training and talent development, goal attainment, and continuous improvement within these areas.
Maintain time and attendance tracking.
Quality Responsibilities: Perform daily layered audits.
Quality investigations 8D and 4 Block
Leadership and guidance for Quality Auditors
Tool distribution.
Assist operations with scheduling, printing, and distribution of work orders.
Interface with other Supervisors to ensure efficient operations between shifts.
