Job summary

AZZ Inc. is seeking an Operations Manager at our Crowley, Texas facility to lead supervisors and support staff, driving productivity and customer satisfaction while promoting a strong safety and ethics culture.

Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will develop relationships with the team, address quality issues at the source, manage schedules and staffing, and mentor subordinates to optimize growth. All duties aim to meet company goals and ensure compliant operations.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish highly preferred.
• 1-2 years of galvanizing and/or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Prior knowledge of Oracle preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and maintains the daily manufacturing operations of the company through subordinate supervisors.
• Collaborates with the Plant Manager to establish short-term and long-term goals, objectives, plans, and policies for manufacturing.
• Reviews operating results and implements corrective actions to meet objectives and forecasts.
• Provides guidance and direction to carry out major plans, standards, and procedures aligned with company goals.
• Ensures activities comply with legal and ethical guidelines.
• Manages facility schedules and staffing plans to meet demand.
• Monitors project progress and addresses warranty, invoicing, and delivery issues.
• Coaches and mentors staff to optimize growth potential.
