Job summary

Chart Industries, Inc. in Stafford, TX is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Manager to oversee daily operations, drive continuous improvement, and ensure safe, high‑quality production that meets customer and business needs.

You will lead manufacturing and rebuild projects, manage inventory, develop talent, and collaborate across teams and with customers while maintaining health, safety and ISO 9001 standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience as a plant manager with P&L responsibility.
• 10 years of management experience in manufacturing/assembly environments.
• Hands-on experience implementing continuous improvement processes.
• Knowledge of manufacturing performance indicators and ISO 9001:2015 standards.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily planning, implementation and maintenance of manufacturing equipment and service activities to meet customer and business expectations.
• Ensure efficient use of materials, equipment and personnel to produce quality products at minimum costs.
• Select, develop and evaluate personnel to ensure safe and efficient operation of the function.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with health, safety, and company standards.
• Manage rebuild and manufacturing projects to meet specifications and aftermarket requirements.
• Develop talent within the department and collaborate with HR on employee relations.
