Job summary

Chart Industries seeks a Production Manager to lead the ACHES shop in Tulsa, OK, overseeing staffing, scheduling, and performance to drive safety, quality, delivery, and cost excellence. You will coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and HR to meet goals and support capability development across three Tulsa locations.

This role emphasizes Lean/CI, standard work, and data-driven decision making to improve throughput, reduce waste, and enhance customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Experience in manufacturing operations with leadership of a production area.
Measurable success applying Lean tools and leading CI events.
Familiarity with fabrication/assembly processes such as sheet metal, welding, machining, and testing.

Responsibilities

Lead daily operations for the ACHES shop: staffing, floor coverage, production scheduling and on-time delivery.
Achieve direct operating expense targets and manage a profitable operation by minimizing variances.
Ensure safe work practices and compliance with EHS and regulatory standards; lead safety huddles and incident investigations.
Maintain standard work, work instructions, and visual management systems; ensure operators are properly trained.
Track and report KPIs (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, People) through tiered daily management.
Partner with Planning/Supply Chain to ensure material availability and communicate capacity constraints.
Lead root cause investigations for defects, delays, and downtime; drive corrective and preventive actions.
Develop and train supervisors and coordinators through increased responsibilities.
