Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Manager General Manufacturing I for its Armament Systems in Plymouth, MN. You will lead a team of Engineering Technicians, drive production program performance, and uphold high standards for quality and safety.

The role requires 7 years of experience (or 3 years with BS / 1 year with MS), 2+ years of leadership, and US citizenship with the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance. Strong communication and manufacturing knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• 7 years of experience in related field.
• 3 years with a BS or 1 year with an MS in Engineering.
• 2+ years of project, program, or people leadership experience.
• Excellent communication skills – written and oral.
• Experience working in manufacturing environment.
• Ability to solve problems and drive continuous improvements.
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Project, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Must be a US Citizen and able to acquire a Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Engineering Technicians within the Operations department.
• Support the Armament System PGK programs.
• Balance PGK group workload and staffing to meet program needs.
• Coach direct reports in career development, performance, and teamwork.
• Provide training and development opportunities.
• Provide continual feedback and hold quarterly connections.
