Job summary

Merit Medical Systems, Inc. in Pearland, Texas, is seeking a Day shift Manufacturing Manager to lead production priorities and manage operations for the manufacturing and sub-assembly processes. The role requires six years of managerial experience and a Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering or related field.

You will provide leadership, solve production challenges, and ensure compliance with GMP and quality standards while guiding a top management team to achieve objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering or related field required.
• Minimum six years of related managerial experience.
• Two years of extensive technical engineering experience in manufacturing.
• Ability to solve problems to meet product development and manufacturing needs.
• Knowledge of GMP and TQM in manufacturing.
• Proficient computer skills (spreadsheets, word processing, databases).

Responsibilities

• Meet with production management to determine daily priorities and monitor standards.
• Manage manufacturing operations to meet needs of manufacturing and sub-assembly processes.
• Provide managerial and technical support to achieve tasks.
• Resolve quality and manufacturing criteria issues.
• Input for manufacturing project approvals and evaluate team performance.
• Plan and generate estimates for the department to foresee obstacles.
