Job summary

Tedia Company is seeking a Production Manager in Fairfield, Ohio to lead manufacturing execution and site maintenance. This role ensures safe, compliant, efficient, and on-time operations, translating the production plan into daily priorities and building leader capability across shifts.

You will supervise four Manufacturing Team Leads and a Production Coordinator, oversee staffing and training, and drive improvements in throughput and equipment reliability while collaborating with Quality, EHS,

Qualifications

• Five+ years of manufacturing experience (chemical/pharma/process)
• 3+ years of leadership with people management
• Experience managing safety, quality, production schedules, labor, and metrics
• Working knowledge of MRP/ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and MS Office
• Strong floor leadership, decision-making, problem-solving, and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Lead operations per safety, quality, PSM, RMP and environmental requirements.
• Own daily manufacturing execution across shifts; set priorities and accountability.
• Translate production schedule into staffing, equipment, material and maintenance plans.
• Lead four Manufacturing Team Leads and Production Coordinator; set expectations and standard work.
• Maintain visible performance metrics for safety, quality, delivery, yield, and uptime.
• Monitor schedule attainment; escalate risks and coordinating recovery plans.
• Manage staffing, overtime, training, qualification, attendance, and succession planning.
• Coach leaders through floor presence, handoffs, tier meetings, and reviews.
• Ensure production records, deviations and required documentation are completed on time.
• Lead or support investigations; ensure corrective actions prevent recurrence.
• Identify bottlenecks and lead improvements in flow, cycle time, changeovers, and yield.
• Partner with Quality, EHS, Engineering, R&D, and Supply Chain to resolve constraints.
• Collaborate with Engineering Manager on capital projects and startup readiness.
• Own operating budget; control labor, maintenance, contractor and operating expenses.
