Job summary

Flowserve Baton Rouge Quick Response Center (QRC) seeks an experienced operations leader to drive safe, efficient, and high-quality shop performance. You will direct supervisors, repair/assembly technicians, and machinists, focusing on coaching, development, and daily management discipline.

You will partner with sales, service, supply chain, and engineering to resolve issues, improve responsiveness, and meet tight customer delivery commitments, while advancing continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing, repair, or industrial environments.
• 3+ years of supervisory experience managing teams in a manufacturing or repair environment.
• Experience leading daily management systems and performance reviews.

Responsibilities

• Lead a safe, productive, and quality-focused shop environment in accordance with safety policies.
• Direct shop personnel including supervisors, repair/assembly technicians, and machinists to develop team capability through coaching and training.
• Drive daily management at Tier 1 and Tier 2 levels to align the team on performance metrics and continuous improvement priorities.
• Execute continuous improvement of metrics such as safety, quality, on-time delivery, cycle time, backlog, productivity, and cost.
• Schedule labor, materials, equipment, and shop capacity to meet customer demand and delivery commitments.
• Lead structured problem-solving and corrective actions addressing operational, quality, and customer-delivery issues.
• Collaborate with sales, customer service, supply chain, and engineering to resolve issues and improve responsiveness.
• Oversee departmental priorities and preventative maintenance to meet operational and financial objectives.
