Job summary

IPEX, a leading plastics piping systems provider, seeks a Production Manager at our Kingman, Arizona plant. You will lead daily production operations, drive safety, quality, and efficiency while collaborating with Maintenance, Quality, and HSE to meet objectives and develop your team.

You will guide Lean initiatives, manage budgets, and ensure ISO compliance, fostering a safe, high-performing workplace and continuous improvement culture across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive production leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• College/university degree in engineering or manufacturing or equivalent experience.
• Experience leading teams, talent development, employee relations, and influencing performance.
• Lean manufacturing knowledge; Six Sigma experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of production planning, manufacturing processes, quality systems, performance management, and resource allocation.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production operations to safely deliver customer requirements while optimizing productivity, quality, inventory levels, labor utilization, and manufacturing costs.
• Drive operational excellence through production planning, performance monitoring, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, efficiency, and cost reduction.
• Analyze production metrics, downtime, and operational results to identify improvement opportunities and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards, company policies, and environmental, health, and safety requirements, while championing a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
• Oversee management of raw materials, packaging materials, regrind, and non-hazardous waste per facility procedures.
• Lead, coach, and develop Production Supervisors and plant employees through performance management, training, succession planning, and recruitment activities.
• Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, HSE, and other cross-functional teams to achieve production objectives and improve performance.
• Lead and sustain Lean and 5S initiatives to maintain an organized, efficient, high-performing workplace.
• Manage departmental budgets and provide operational reporting to support business decisions.
