Job summary

RHI Magnesita is seeking a seasoned manufacturing leader to drive site operations on a fully on-site basis in Greensboro, NC. You will manage production scheduling, oversee maintenance, quality assurance, and related functions while ensuring safety and efficiency metrics meet targets.

The role requires 5+ years in manufacturing with supervisory experience, plus lean manufacturing knowledge and ERP/MRP experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in manufacturing with 1–2 years in upper-level supervision or management.
• Strong knowledge of production planning, equipment, processes, and financial controls.
• Proven leadership to motivate and develop teams in a fast-paced plant.
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead safe, cost-effective operations across production, shipping, maintenance, QA, and support functions.
• Manage production scheduling and communicate KPIs to leadership.
• Monitor daily reports to evaluate cost center performance, scrap, overtime, and productivity.
• Ensure safety standards and OSHA compliance, fostering a strong safety culture.
• Collaborate with QA, Sales, Corporate, and stakeholders to meet customer requirements.
