Job summary

The Pivot Group Network partners with West Michigan manufacturers in Rockford to identify an experienced Operations Manager. This role focuses on optimizing production, improving efficiency, and ensuring safety and quality across daily operations.

You will lead supervisors and line workers, manage resources, collaborate with supply chain, and drive continuous improvement using lean and ERP/MES systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in operations management within a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven track record of improving production efficiency, reducing costs and enhancing quality.
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience with ERP systems and MES.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Oversee daily production activities, ensuring adherence to quality standards and production schedules.
• Manage and mentor a team of production supervisors and line workers.
• Optimize resource allocation, including labor, materials, and equipment.
• Implement and monitor safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment.
• Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with supply chain and logistics to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
