Job summary

Badger Meter is seeking a Senior Manager of Manufacturing Operations to lead Production Operations, Control, Inventory, and Shipping functions. You will drive planning, scheduling, capacity, and material flow while meeting safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity goals.

You will develop high-performing teams, set KPIs, and partner with Engineering, Procurement, Quality, and Supply Chain to ensure readiness and success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Business, or related field; 7+ years of leadership in manufacturing/ops environments.
• Experience managing performance via KPIs, metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and driving organizational change.
• Lean Six Sigma training or certification and PMP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for Production Operations, Production Control, Inventory Management, and Shipping & Receiving.
• Build high-performing teams through coaching, performance management, succession planning, and organizational development.
• Own production planning, scheduling, schedule attainment, and capacity management to meet demand.
• Drive on-time delivery, inventory performance, labor efficiency, throughput, and cost performance across ops.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, and waste reduction.
