Job summary

Allegion is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead a 40–60 person hourly team at our Indianapolis, IN plant on 1st shift. You will plan daily production, drive Lean improvements, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery to meet customer specifications.

We value leadership, problem solving, and cross-functional collaboration. A Bachelor's in a related field is required, with 5–7 years of supervisory manufacturing experience and a proven track record of developing people.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Fabrication experience highly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• Lean manufacturing knowledge and practice preferred.
• Proven ability to lead and develop people.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 40–60 hourly associates to meet production targets.
• Engage in continuous improvement and waste elimination using lean tools.
• Plan daily production activities and align projects to goals.
• Ensure timely material planning and production readiness.
• Ensure ISO and quality standard compliance in operations.
• Maintain safe operations per established EHS procedures.
• Track and report operations KPIs and productivity.
• Identify cost reduction opportunities to improve efficiency.
• Develop staff through training and coaching.
• Communicate cross-functionally with suppliers and service providers.
