Job summary

Ring Power Corporation, a leading Cat Equipment dealer serving North Florida, seeks a Manufacturing Planner for the Phoenix Products unit. You will organize, coordinate, plan and schedule all related production activities in the Manufacturing Department and learn the manufacturing of fuel storage systems and generator protective buildings and cabinets.

You will analyze schedules, assign jobs by skill, monitor shipping targets, manage materials and equipment, and support continuous improvement

Qualifications

• 5 to 10 years of experience in Manufacturing and Manufacturing management.
• Computer skills in Microsoft Office and Autocad programs
• Must be able to comprehend, speak and write the English language.
• Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to understand all aspects of aboveground storage system products and services.
• Must have ability to re-schedule production due to current sales demands.
• Business or Engineering degree from a four year college or university; or 5 to 10 years related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Organize, coordinate, plan and schedule production activities in Manufacturing.
• Learn manufacturing of fuel storage systems and related products.
• Analyze and plan work schedules according to build plan and orders.
• Establish job assignments to maximize productivity and meet monthly shipping targets.
• Set schedules for each job order to maximize efficiency.
• Oversee shop equipment, tools, and materials used in Manufacturing.
• Assist with customer problems and develop corrective actions.
• Respond to change orders and communicate changes to production.
• Establish labor hours for each project and update process changes.
• Maintain buildings and equipment.
• Review material costs and record for each product line.
• Set quality standards with Plant Coordinator for products.
• Supervise stockroom and materials/tools.
• Set monthly targets with Production Coordinator and Plant Manager.
