Job summary

BTD Manufacturing is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor in Dawsonville, GA to lead daily production, oversee Operators and support staff, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

You will prioritize work by shift, manage payroll aspects for supervised employees, and enforce safety policies across the plant. Strong leadership and manufacturing knowledge are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Four or more years of supervisory manufacturing experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Solid knowledge of manufacturing systems, quality requirements and tooling.

Responsibilities

• Communicates daily with Director of Operations to align department objectives.
• Supervises Operators, Setup People, Setup Support, Material Handlers, Inspectors, Programmers and others.
• Prioritizes projects by shift using production schedule to meet customer deadlines.
• Manages payroll information and team vacation/holiday/overtime.
• Ensures equipment familiarity and safe operation before production runs.
• Enforces safety policies and addresses deficiencies with maintenance or engineering as needed.
• Leads performance standards, monitors employee performance, and develops leadership.
