Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Prior supervisory experience.
• Basic computer skills (MS Office) are required.
• Previous experience in operations or directly supporting a manufacturing operation (Pharma, Food, Clean-room, or other applicable).
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and ability to handle and prioritize multiple requests.
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to train and mentor others.

Responsibilities

• During the project phase, support start-up activities to bring the Device Assembly and Packaging area into service.
• Coordinate start-up support among self and team; train on equipment use and develop proficiency.
• Develop inclusive culture and lead operational readiness activities.
• Lead the team that operates the lines after turnover to operations.
• Ensure lines are adequately staffed with trained and qualified personnel.
• Strict adherence to safety and quality rules and procedures.
• Direct line supervision for line leaders and operators.
• Provide leadership on manufacturing floor to maintain safety, quality and productivity.
• Encourage Stop Work Authority when unsafe situations arise.
• Maintain safe work environment and support HSE goals.
• Be administrator and technical leader; teach procedures and quality systems.
• Collaborate with area supervisors for consistency across shifts.
• Ensure shop floor execution aligns with business plan and cGMP.
• Drive continuous improvement; evaluate ideas and implement high-value changes.
• Maintain training plans and updates for compliance.
• Develop area documentation to support startup, training, and operation.
• Investigate deviations and support root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Manage several direct reports across multiple lines.
• Coach, develop, and evaluate operators.
• Communicate cross-functionally regarding quality or equipment concerns.
