Job summary

3M is seeking a Senior Supervisor Manufacturing Operations to lead safety, lean execution and staffing priorities in a global context. The role emphasizes continuous improvement, strong team leadership, and rapid response to operational issues across shifts.

Ideal candidates bring several years of manufacturing operations experience in diverse environments, plus Lean certification and a track record of delivering results within collaborative teams. Relocation may be offered where needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution.
• Three (3) years of supervisory experience in a private, public, government or military environment.
• Five (5) years of manufacturing operations experience in a private, public, government or military environment.

Responsibilities

• Create a world class safety culture and lead employees with respectful behaviors and teamwork.
• Determine staffing and prioritization to ensure service to customers; implement LEAN execution and support organizational transitions.
• Maintain a continuous improvement mindset with focus on safety, productivity and employee relations.
• Engage the team to align with the strategic plan and drive results.
• Be available to respond to operational issues seven days a week, 24 hours a day.
