Job summary

Champion Home Builders, Inc. in Claysburg, PA is seeking an Operational Excellence Specialist to lead plant-wide improvements in quality, safety, and productivity. You will coordinate initiatives with plant management, develop and publish standard work, and train the workforce to sustain best practices.

You will identify efficiency gaps, implement corrective actions, and monitor performance with leadership. A track record in manufacturing operations and process improvement is expected.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities for plant operations improvements across quality, productivity, safety, and inventory. Monitor performance and report results.
• Lead implementation of operational excellence initiatives.
• Conduct periodic plant assessments and address high warranty or service quality issues.
• Publish standards and maintain standard work processes.
• Develop quarterly operational excellence plans and track results.
• Ensure production workforce is trained in process and manufacturing methods.
• Assist management in addressing productivity problems and in problem solving.
• Design and deliver training for safety, quality, and productivity.
• Maintain training records and coordinate with Quality, HR, and Production to meet requirements.
• Identify inefficiencies and drive improvements with plant management
