Job summary

Sheridan Minnesota-based manufacturer is seeking three team members for the Bindery Manufacturing Operating Technician role. No bindery experience is required as training will be provided.

You will learn to operate, set up, and maintain high-speed bindery equipment on a fast-paced production floor. Ideal candidates are mechanically inclined, comfortable with basic tools, and capable of reading job instructions and measurements.

Qualifications

• Learn to set up, run, and maintain sections of the Machine.
• Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs to machine and auxiliary equipment.
• Interpret work instructions and accurately record production data.

What You’ll Do:

• Learn to set up, run, and maintain all sections of the Machine.
• Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs to machine and auxiliary equipment.
• Learn to interpret the information on work instructions and accurately record production data.
• Exercise initiative, ask questions and look for ways of improving productivity.

What We’re Looking For:

No bindery experience? No problem—we’ll train you.
We’re looking for people who:

• Have experience operating machineryin any industry(manufacturing, warehouse, trades, etc.)
• Are mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic tools
• Can read basic job instructions and measurements (decimals, sizes, etc.)
• Take pride in doing quality work
• Show up reliably and work well with a team
• High school diploma/GED.

It’s a plus if you have:

• Print, bindery, or finishing experience
• Experience setting up or adjusting production equipment

Physical & Work Environment

• On your feet for most of the shift.
• Fast-paced, team-oriented production floor.
• Lift up to 25 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
