Job summary

Kohler in Bristol, PA seeks a Staff Engineer, Manufacturing to lead New Product Introductions and new manufacturing capabilities for the Bristol facility. You will manage projects across Quality and Manufacturing, coordinating process design, equipment procurement, SOPs and training for new products and custom projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from ABET accredited program.
• Minimum of 6 years of engineering or related experience in production assembly.
• Experience with automated equipment and integration preferred.
• Experience with glass or metal fabrication process capabilities.
• Aluminum extrusion and metal tooling knowledge is a plus.
• SolidWorks familiarity is a plus.
• Six Sigma/Lean training preferred.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead NPI and new manufacturing capabilities to support product launches.
• Coordinate cross-functional tasks with NPD, Marketing and Supply Chain.
• Develop cell layouts, process flows and SOPs for launches and training.
• Complete PCI routings and serve as PCI SME for Manufacturing.
• Lead PFMEA and action plans to reduce risks in launches.
• Determine inspection, gauging and testing frequencies and locations.
• Drive continuous improvement using Kohler Operating System.
