Job summary

PIM Brands LLC is seeking a Manufacturing Mogul Lead for the 1st shift (Wed-Sun) at our Somerset, New Jersey site. The role leads the Processing and Mogul manufacturing area, overseeing daily production from Kitchen through Shakeout and coordinating across functions to achieve safety, quality and productivity goals.

You will establish daily expectations, coach staff, drive continuous improvement, and ensure effective resource use while maintaining strong on-floor leadership and prompt escalation

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing, food production, or related production environment.
• Experience leading or coordinating high-volume production operations.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, safety practices, quality standards, and process controls.
• Proven ability to make effective decisions in fast-paced operational environments.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a Manufacturing Mogul Lead-1st shift, Wed-Sun interested in a career with a top ranked and growing snack company, to join our Production/Packaging department at PIM’s Somerset New Jersey location. This position will report to our Team Leader, Packaging.

Job Overview

The Mogul Lead (PIM Level 7) serves as the frontline operational leader for the Processing and Mogul manufacturing area and is responsible for overseeing daily production activities across the entire manufacturing process from Kitchen through Shakeout. This position provides direct floor leadership, operational coordination, and performance oversight for all processing functions, including Cooking, Batch Making, Trucking, Mogul Operations, Pickout, Shakeout, and associated support activities.

The Mogul Lead is accountable for ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant execution of production plans while maintaining the highest standards of safety, food safety, quality, productivity, and operational discipline. This role serves as the primary point of coordination between departments and functions to ensure seamless communication, effective resource utilization, and uninterrupted business operations.

As the first level of leadership within the Processing organization, the Mogul Lead establishes daily performance expectations, reinforces standard work, coaches and develops team members, drives accountability, and promotes a culture of operational excellence. This role maintains a strong presence on the manufacturing floor and serves as the primary escalation point for operational concerns affecting production, quality, safety, staffing, scheduling, equipment performance, and material flow.

The Mogul Lead works closely with Operations Leadership, Maintenance, Quality, Engineering, Sanitation, Warehouse, Planning, and Continuous Improvement teams to ensure production objectives are achieved and sustainable performance improvements are implemented across the department.

Duties and Responsibilities

Standard Work, Process Control & Continuous Improvement

• Ensure compliance with all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and production standards.
• Maintain process discipline and consistency across all processing operations.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve safety, quality, productivity, efficiency, and equipment reliability.
• Support root cause analysis and the execution of corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).
• Participate in and promote Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, and Operational Excellence initiatives.
• Sustain process improvements through coaching, accountability, and adherence to revised standards.

Physical Demands/Essential Job Functions

Physical requirements include standing for extended periods, walking, bending, reaching, climbing stairs, pushing, pulling, and lifting upto 50 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be considered in accordance with applicable laws.

This role operates primarily within a manufacturing environment and may be exposed to hot surfaces, steam, elevated temperatures, moving equipment, ingredient dust, and production-related noise. Required PPE and GMP-compliant attire must be worn at all times.

Education, Experience, and Training

Required Qualifications

• The PIM Brands manfucaturing site is operational 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
