Job summary

SPIROL International Corporation is seeking a Manufacturing / Mechanical Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 in Stow, Ohio. This on-site role offers hands-on experience alongside engineering and manufacturing professionals while contributing to meaningful projects that impact daily operations.

You will evaluate procedures, participate in CI initiatives, perform time studies, and assist with new process and equipment implementations.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate Engineering or Technical program at an accredited college or university.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Familiar with AutoCAD and 3D CAD modeling.
• Ability to work effectively in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong work ethic, initiative, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate existing procedures and production methods for improvement opportunities.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives and engineering projects.
• Perform time studies to support production and item creation standards.
• Assist with new or upgraded process and equipment implementation projects.
• Support process development, improvement, and documentation efforts.
• Develop procedures, forms, checklists, and schedules to support manufacturing activities.
• Research new technologies, equipment, and supplies to improve operations.
• Collaborate with plant personnel, office staff, suppliers, and contractors as needed.
• Gain hands on experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment.
