Job summary

Pacer Group is seeking a Product Support Specialist to perform a variety of product support duties within a team environment while following well-defined procedures and processes. This position may support one or more functions, including raw stock, parts identification, shipping, receiving, stockroom, stock handling, clean operations, and parts handling.

The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, basic computer skills, manual dexterity, and the ability to safely handle materials

Qualifications

• One year of product support or related experience, or demonstrated ability to perform the described position responsibilities.
• General knowledge of computer terminal operations.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Ability to read and understand related forms and specifications.
• Ability to safely handle materials and follow established procedures.
• May be required to operate moving equipment and saw equipment and meet OSHA safety qualifications.
• May require a forklift operator certificate.
• Must be willing and able to work 2nd Shift: 1:30 PM–10:00 PM.
• Safety shoes are required on the first day; composite or steel toe safety shoes are acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify incoming raw stock against documentation.
• Identify and code raw material; load/unload and move to locations.
• Identify parts and lay out dimensions for markings.
• Prepare parts and materials for shipping; complete paperwork and logs.
• Receive shipments; weigh/count; verify against documentation.
• Maintain stockroom inventory and perform cycle counts.
• Follow traveler/route sheet instructions; operate forklifts or other material-moving devices.
• Audit material storage areas to support inventory location and count accuracy.
• Observe all safety rules and maintain an orderly work area.
