Manufacturing Material Handler

Location: 61 Barnes Industrial Park North, Wallingford, CT 06492
Facility: CT180 Manufacturing Facility

Shift: Part-time, Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 12:00pm
Up to 28 hours/week

Overview

As a Part-time Manufacturing Material Handler, you will be responsible for managing materials, including ensuring materials are cut and positioned at the machines for processing, loading trucks, and returning unused materials from each work order. This role may offer flexible scheduling after onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals.

Responsibilities

1. Maintaining accurate inventory records.
2. Ensuring timely delivery of materials to machines.
3. Supporting multiple teams by supplying and returning materials as needed.

Required Qualifications

1. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
2. Proficient in computer skills.
3. Strong math skills, attention to detail, and a sense of urgency.
4. Highly motivated, self-directed, and customer service-oriented.
5. Ability to learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. Demonstrate core values of ambition, innovation, integrity, and teamwork.
8. Ability to lift, slide, carry, and lower packages weighing 25-50 lbs, up to 100 lbs.
9. Pass drug screening (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico, and Guam).

Preferred Qualifications

1. Prior experience in material handling.
2. Forklift operation experience.
