Job summary

Randstad USA in Temecula, CA is seeking a Material Handler for a first shift (Mon–Fri) at 6:00am–2:30pm. Pay is $21 per hour; steel-toed shoes are required. This is a 12‑month, temporary assignment; Amazon experience or any warehouse background is welcome.

Responsibilities include receiving and storing goods, picking and packing, shipping, and maintaining related documentation. The role requires a team player with a positive attitude, basic High School education, and the ability to operate

• Deliver accepted items within 24 hours or notify requestor.
• Prepare related documentation and maintain files using computer systems.
• Operate material handling equipment as needed.
• Accurately pull/pack products for orders, noting FIFO and lot numbers.
• Prepare documents for distribution and assist with customs where applicable.
• Prepare data for computer input and use tracking software.
• Use PC and material/production/distribution tracking software.

Receive and store purchased and inter-company transferred goods. Pick, pack, ship and distribute goods with required documentation to meet company needs. Participates in physical inventories of warehouse, issue and deliver goods to manufacturing. Candidate is a team player with positive attitude.

Responsibilities

1. 1. Performs manual and routine duties in one or more of the following areas: shipping, receiving, material supply, and inventory control.
2. 2. Pick and pack items for outbound shipments with emphasis on attention to detail.
3. 3. Receive all incoming materials storing at the correct temperature. Inspect and compare with packing lists, bills of lading, purchase orders, discrete jobs, variances, MRAs and/or related documentation. Report discrepancies or damage goods. Document and label materials according to procedures.
4. 4. Deliver accepted items within 24 hours of receipt or notify requestor(s) of received materials.
5. 5. Prepares related documentation and maintains files/records as required using computer technology.
6. 6. Operates material handling equipment as necessary.
7. 7. Accurately pull and/or pack products for customer orders, discrete jobs and/or related documents for shipments or assemblies noting items for FIFO, lot numbers, shipping temperature, address, and ship methods.
8. 8. Produce correct documents necessary for distribution needs. Ensure timely customs clearance where applicable.
9. 9. Prepares data for computer input and works with computer printouts.
10. 10. Uses PC and material/production/distribution tracking software.
