Job summary

Peak Nano is seeking a Manufacturing Manager to lead a three-shift extrusion operation and move the line from R&D into reliable commercial production. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, operations management, or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive manufacturing experience, including 3 years leading technicians in a multi-shift operation.
• Experience managing extrusion operations in high-volume, continuous-process manufacturing; thin-film extrusion preferred.
• Proven ability to implement standard work, production metrics, shift accountability, and continuous-improvement practices.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance, equipment reliability, critical-spares management, and consumables inventory controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead a three-shift, 24/7 extrusion operation while transitioning from R&D to commercial production.
• Establish standard work, shift routines, handoffs, process controls, training, and documentation.
• Own throughput, yield, downtime, scrap, schedule attainment, and equipment performance metrics.
• Coordinate maintenance, critical spare-parts readiness, and consumables tracking; partner with cross-functional teams.
