Qualifications

  • Education: Preferred Bachelor’s degree, but will consider 5+ years manufacturing experience in a leadership role.
  • Experience with Lean manufacturing is a must.
  • At least 5 years experience leadership in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Create a plan for safety improvements and build a culture of safety, 6S, and safe behaviors.
  • Develop team members through regular check-ins, development plans, training plans, and CI/Safety kaizen.
  • Establish and sustain strategy for process adherence and improvement per Weir Process Management.
  • Lead continuous improvement through A3 thinking, PDCA, 6S, Process Management and other lean tools.
  • Lead team with strategic vision for manufacturing operations to minimize costs via manpower, equipment, facilities, materials, and capital.
  • Achieve business objectives and production schedules while ensuring product quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain quality systems, procedures, and practices.
  • Safety First: Commit to zero harm in safety culture.
