General Summary:This position will be accountable for meeting manufacturing objectives such as OTD, labor and equipment efficiencies, quality, and safety. Establishing the manufacturing plan, priorities, monitoring progress, appraising results, and implementing corrective actions as needed. Also accountable for employee development, meeting production schedule, driving 5S and equipment maintenance, and ensuring quality and on time requirements are met.Education and/or Experience:Technical Degree and 3-5 years experience in manufacturingProblem solving skills utilizing Lean and/or 6 sigma toolsExperience with Injection molding, PLC programming, or CNC programming a plusOther Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Faster-than-average pace; ability to learn quickly, thoroughly, and in detailMust have very strong change management skillsPrevious experience in manufacturing environment in a significant leadership roleDemonstrated ability to successfully manage with P&L and other operational metricsDetail oriented with a pragmatic approach when it comes to planning, budgets, & financialsExperienced with ERP systems for planning and job management.
