SkyWater is partnering with a growing industrial equipment manufacturer to hire a Manufacturing Manager for their team. This is a high-visibility leadership role where you’ll run your own area at a plant in the North Metro.

You’ll lead a large team across multiple shifts, own safety for your division, oversee product quality, implement lean manufacturing principles, look for efficiencies & cost-savings opportunities, and lead capital equipment projects.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field; MBA or Master’s degree is a plus.
• 8+ years manufacturing/operations experience, with at least 3 years leading teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication across levels.
• Experience managing budgets, variances, and cost improvements.
• Lean, Six Sigma, or other CI training preferred.
• Experience working in machining or assembly environments preferred.

• Lead a team of 90 across multiple shifts and oversee safety, quality, and delivery.
• Coach and develop staff, conduct performance reviews, cross-training, and succession planning.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, supply chain, maintenance, finance, and HR to launch new products and changes.
• Build and manage annual operating plan: labor, staffing, capacity, budgets, productivity.
• Justify capital projects via ROI and lead projects.
• Other duties as assigned.

You’ll lead a large team across multiple shifts, own safety for your division, oversee product quality, implement lean manufacturing principles, look for efficiencies & cost-savings opportunities, lead capital equipment projects and much more. Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 90 people across multiple shifts, including assemblers, machinists, production planners, and manufacturing engineers.
• Coach, develop and lead the team while handling performance reviews, cross‑training team members, and succession planning when needed.
• Work with engineering, quality, supply chain, maintenance, finance and HR groups. Make sure new products and process changes launch smoothly on the manufacturing floor.
• Build and oversee the annual operating plan: labor hours, staffing, capacity, budgets, and productivity targets.
• Own the safety, quality, and delivery within the division while maintaining a strong presence on the floor & building rapport with team members.
• Justify capital projects through a structured ROI process and lead approved projects within this area.
• Other duties or responsibilities as assigned.

Desired Skills And Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field. o MBA or Master’s Degree is a plus.
• 8+ years of manufacturing or operations experience, with at least 3 years leading manufacturing or production teams. o Experience leading larger teams preferred.
• Strong communication skills (both written & verbal) with the ability to work with employees at various levels of an organization.
• Experience managing budgets, understanding cost variances, and improving manufacturing operations preferred.
• Lean, six sigma or other continuous improvement training highly preferred.
• Experience working in a machining or assembly environment preferred.
