Job summary

Essity is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Bordentown, NJ to perform preventive and predictive maintenance on paper-converting equipment. You will troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems and support operators with technical guidance.

The role starts on the first shift (Mon-Fri 7:00 AM–3:30 PM) and transitions to a weekend shift (Fri–Sun 5:00 AM–5:00 PM). The ideal candidate has 3+ years in industrial maintenance and a strong safety mindset.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience required.
• Experience with a preventive maintenance schedule is required.
• Working with mechanical and electrical blueprints or drawings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical issues and root-cause analysis.
• Support operators with technical guidance and document repairs.
• Maintain drawings, diagrams, and bill of materials and communicate repairs.
• Participate in improvement projects to reduce maintenance costs and failures.
• Collaborate with Maintenance, Operations, vendors, and contractors on projects.
• Follow Lock Out/Tag Out, Confined Space, and safety standards.
