Job summary
Sentrigard is seeking a Maintenance & Safety Technician to ensure reliable and efficient operation of our manufacturing equipment and production lines. The role emphasizes preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and safety compliance within a fast-paced industrial setting.
The candidate should have a strong background in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, with experience in PLCs and sensors.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred in industrial maintenance.
- Minimum 10 years in machinery maintenance with 2 years in supervision.
- On-site role with up to 20% travel to off-site locations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee a comprehensive maintenance program for all plant machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
- Provide technical guidance to maintenance and production staff.
- Analyze equipment performance and recommend improvements.
- Maintain maintenance records and safety reporting.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and other departments on schedules.
- Train line operators and technicians.
- Manage inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies.
- Ensure safety compliance and conduct safety audits.
- Coordinate facility and associate support equipment maintenance.
