Main Duties & Responsibilities
Job Summary:
The Level 2 Maintenance Technician supports daily operations by performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on injection molding machines and related equipment. This role requires a solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, along with the ability to respond to production needs in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The technician ensures equipment is running efficiently and safely, helps minimize downtime, and may assist with mold changes, automation systems, and facility maintenance. This position works closely with production, engineering, and other maintenance team members to support continuous improvement and uptime goals.
Hours: M-F 9:00am - 5:00pm
Key Responsibilities:
Performs entry to mid-level break-fix and preventative maintenance. This includes, but not limited to: adjusting functional parts of devices and control instruments to sustain and improve operations; repairing or replacing defective parts; reconditioning or repairing machine tools.Identifies needed parts, supplies, and repair items.
Provides support and back up for other members of department as needed by leadership.
Is aware of Maintenance Industry Standards.
Assures compliance with 5S and housekeeping standards.
Participates in Continuous Improvement activities - processes, results and cost savings.
May be required to setup and operate simple machining operations including, but not limited to: drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts. May perform basic welding tasks.
Updates records and reviews IQMS (ERP System) history.
Performs basic troubleshooting of control systems circuitry.
Completes technical self-study programs for career development.
Follows all safety related policies, rules,regulations, technical instructions and guidelines. Situational awareness andidentify unsafe behaviors and conditions.
On-Site: This role is required to be on-site 5days at the Denver, COlocation.
Qualifications 3+ years of maintenance experience in an injection molding environment preferred Compensation In compliance with all states and cities requiring transparency of pay, the expected pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00. Compensation can vary depending on several factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, experience, competencies, and geographic location. Some roles may qualify for extra incentives like equity, commissions, or other variable performance-related bonuses. Further details will be provided by our recruiting team during the interview process.
Experience in an ISO environment preferred
Experience with basic hand tools
Understanding of basic electrical and mechanicalsystems preferred
