Job summary

SendCutSend is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service production equipment across three buildings in Reno, NV. You’ll troubleshoot CNC laser cutters, press brakes, finishing systems, and facility infrastructure to minimize downtime and keep output steady.

You will perform preventative maintenance, maintain logs, and assist in safety documentation and upgrades, working closely with production teams on improvements.

Qualifications

• Prior maintenance experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or production environment.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, motors, conveyors, and industrial equipment.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems, compressed air, hydraulics, and industrial plumbing.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues using standard maintenance tools and procedures.
• Experience performing preventative maintenance tasks.
• Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, maintenance procedures, and safety documentation.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain organized maintenance records.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair production equipment including CNC laser cutters, press brakes, and finishing equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues across systems.
• Work with production teams to minimize downtime and improve performance.
• Maintain maintenance logs, equipment documentation, and spare parts inventory.
• Assist in developing maintenance procedures and safety documentation.
• Support equipment upgrades and continuous improvement projects.
• Support general facility maintenance including lighting, HVAC coordination, and minor repairs.
