Job summary

SendCutSend Inc. in Reno, NV is seeking a hands-on CNC Machine Operator to set up, operate, and monitor CNC fiber lasers and CNC press brakes to produce precision sheet metal parts.

You will read drawings, verify programs and tooling, perform startup and maintenance, and work with teams to meet daily production goals, while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workspace in a LEAN, 5S environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Basic knowledge of CNC systems and machine controls.
• Ability to read production drawings and flat patterns.
• Ability to use measuring devices and basic hand tools.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to follow work instructions and safety procedures.
• Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor CNC fiber lasers and CNC press brakes.
• Load material and unload finished parts from machines.
• Verify correct programs, tooling, and material prior to running jobs.
• Perform machine startup, shutdown, and routine daily maintenance.
• Install and set up punches, dies, and job tooling as required.
• Read and interpret 2D and 3D drawings for proper laser and brake setup.
• Measure parts using gauges and inspection tools to verify angles, dimensions, and overall accuracy meet customer specifications.
• Collaborate with team leads and supervisors to meet daily production goals and communicate issues or quality concerns as they arise.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area in alignment with LEAN and 5S principles.
• Assist with inventory of tooling such as punches and dies.
• Perform other related duties as assigned
