The role involves maintaining automated and manual production equipment, troubleshooting and repairing machinery, and supporting material handling systems in a high-volume production environment. You will participate in PM, predictive and corrective maintenance, use a range of tools, and collaborate with a team to keep production running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on maintenance experience
• Strong mechanical background and equipment troubleshooting experience
• Prior diagnostic, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance (PM) experience preferred
• Familiarity with various hand and electric tools
• Ability to prioritize and organize work-related tasks and projects
• Must possess good communication skills
• Must be able to speak, read, and understand English for job duties
• Detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines
• Problem solving and analytical skills required
• Willing to work overtime, off-shift, weekends and holidays to support production needs

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, assemble, repair and maintain equipment, machinery and systems related to both automated and manual production equipment.
• Perform repairs and maintenance of material handling equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, rolling racks, conveyors, loading dock systems, compressors, electrical and lighting panels.
• Coordinate and participate in preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Operate and use manual tools and powered shop machinery to maintain equipment.
• Repair and maintain material handling equipment and motors.
• Identify sources of problems by observing devices, listening for issues, using tools to correct problems.
• Maintain inventories of equipment, parts, tools, and supplies in the maintenance shop.
• Maintain a safe working operation and environment.
• Work effectively in a high-volume team while coordinating with management and staff.
• Support and assist in maintaining and improving the maintenance department as needed.
• Perform other related activities as assigned.
