Manufacturing Maintenance Technician 3rd Shift

Job Summary

Reporting directly to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Technician will be a key part of our team by keeping the bakery running efficiently and driving continuous improvement through our PM program and special projects. This role involves organizing and facilitating maintenance on all production and facility equipment, focusing on equipment uptime and resolving quality and production issues, including electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical troubleshooting. Every team member's strengths contribute to innovation and productivity.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot & replace 3-phase motors & VFDs
• Read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
• Experience with low voltage DC circuits, electrical devices (proxs, photo eyes, relays, contactors, safety relays, push buttons)
• Troubleshoot electrical control and safety circuits
• Troubleshoot hydraulics and pneumatics
• Use meters and Meggers proficiently for repair and troubleshooting
• Repair and rebuild electrical and mechanical components
• Install, modify, and fabricate equipment to meet production needs
• Communicate maintenance issues clearly across shifts and with management
• Maintain operational accountability for quality and production goals
• Participate in safety, quality, and housekeeping improvements
• Identify worn bushings or bearings and replace as needed
• Willingness to learn welding (Tig, Stick, Mig)

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong industrial electrical experience required
• High School Diploma and 2+ years industrial maintenance experience, including pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors, 3-phase motors, VSDs, and controls
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Practical troubleshooting skills
• Food manufacturing experience is preferred but not required

Work Conditions

• Work in noisy, wet, humid, hot, and cold environments
• Indoor and outdoor work around machinery
