Job Description
Shift: Continental 2nd shift: (6 pm-6 am)
Key Responsibilities:
- -Follow all safety procedures and report accidents, hazards, and equipment issues.
- -Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
- -Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical systems including gearboxes, extruders, conveyors, pumps, compressors, fans, valves, and drives.
- -Provide basic electrical support for 208/480V equipment, including motors, VFDs, PLCs, starters, and transformers.
- -Read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics.
- -Accurately complete work orders and maintain CMMS documentation.
- -Assist with spare parts inventory, contractor coordination, and equipment improvements.
- -Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
- -Maintain clean, organized maintenance areas.
- -Communicate effectively with operations and maintenance teams, provide shift updates, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- -Assist with training new maintenance personnel and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- -Minimum 2 years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.
- -Experience with CMMS and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
- -Ability to work mandatory overtime and weekends as needed.
Preferred Skills
- -Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
- -PLC troubleshooting and ladder logic interpretation.
- -Read European schematics
- -Welding and fabrication.
- -Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and maintain accurate documentation.
