Job summary

ManpowerGroup in Plymouth, MI is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to support production and facility operations in a manufacturing setting. The role involves troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and maintaining production equipment to keep operations efficient and safe.

The position offers a 1st shift (Monday–Friday) with 40 hours weekly and overtime opportunities. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience and the ability to read electrical schematics,

Qualifications

• 2+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to read electrical schematics.
• Overtime at times including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, equipment manuals, and work orders.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and support emergency repairs.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Maintain inventory of maintenance parts and supplies.
• Assist with mold changes and facility maintenance projects.
• Perform basic plumbing, carpentry, and machining tasks as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and housekeeping standards.
