Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to support production and facility operations in a manufacturing environment in Plymouth, MI. The role involves troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and maintaining production equipment while upholding safety and efficiency.

The position offers a 1st shift, 40 hours per week, with overtime opportunities and a stable manufacturing setting to grow technical skills.

Qualifications

Two or more years of industrial/manufacturing maintenance experience.
Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical systems, and equipment troubleshooting.
Ability to read electrical schematics.
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
Ability to work independently and overtime, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, equipment manuals, and work orders.
Respond to equipment breakdowns and support emergency repairs.
Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
Maintain inventory of maintenance parts and supplies.
Assist with mold changes and facility maintenance projects.
Perform basic plumbing, carpentry, and machining tasks as needed.
Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and housekeeping standards.
