Silgan Containers Manufacturing Corporation in Wisconsin is seeking a maintenance technician to maintain and improve a high-speed can production line. You will troubleshoot, repair, and modify mechanical systems while upholding safety, quality, and cost targets.

Ideal candidates have a HS diploma or GED, technical certification, and the ability to learn SPC for continuous improvement. The role offers competitive starting pay, overtime, and a comprehensive benefits package.

• Utilize your industrial mechanical knowledge in maintaining a high-speed can manufacturing line.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, repair, and modify all industrial mechanical systems.
• Use precision measuring tools and work with close tolerances up to .0010.
• Work with management to improve work area, safety, quality, cost, and productivity.

Job description

Starting pay is $30.03/hour

Work 50% of the year with weekends on for 1 month, weekends off the next

What we offer you:

• Starting pay is $30.03/hour, with overtime available
• Only work 84 hours every two weeks but earn 76 hours of straight pay and 8 hours of scheduled overtime every two weeks
• $0.25/hr increase every 6 months for the first two years
• Quarterly bonus based on plant performance
