Job summary

Russ Davis Wholesale in Saint Paul, MN is seeking a Manufacturing Maintenance Tech to maintain our production facility. This hands-on role involves service, repair and replacement of equipment and building systems on first or second shift.

The position is full-time nonexempt with Sunday-Thursday or Monday-Friday schedules. Benefits include health, vision and dental insurance, PTO and an ESOP program. Candidates should have basic electrical/plumbing skills and be able to lift 50–75 lbs.

Qualifications

• Experience in food processing or a fresh-cut facility is a plus.
• Must have effective communication, decision-making, problem solving, time management and follow-through skills.

• Ability to operate variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, welders, torches, forklift, etc.
• Safety oriented
• Ability to lift up to 50-75lbs occasionally.
• Ability to pass the pre-employment screening: background check and drug test (THC does not disqualify you).

Responsibilities

• Recommend and implement modifications to machinery and equipment to meet production needs.
• Collects and disposes of waste, shovels snow, maintains outside sidewalks, and assists in keeping outside premises in an orderly condition.
• Provides light maintenance and minor repairs to plumbing, electrical, HVAC; may perform routine carpentry work.
• Performs some repairs and maintenance of buildings by patching walls and doors, painting walls and trim, and replacing fixtures and partitions; replaces damaged ceiling and floor tiles, repairs carpet.
• Obtain quotes and order appropriate replacement parts and manage inventory of parts.
• Keep accurate maintenance records.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

This position is responsible for the maintenance of our production facility in St. Paul, MN. This is a hands-on position and will require the individual to assist in the service, repair/replacement of equipment and building systems.

Sunday-Thursday 8:00am-4:30pm

Monday-Friday 2:00pm-10:30pm
