Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support manufacturing operations in Houston. You will diagnose and trouble shoot machinery, execute preventive maintenance programs, and implement equipment upgrades while complying with health and safety rules.

Must have strong mechanical aptitude, hydraulic and electrical experience preferred, with CMMS work order use and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Team player with good communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance technician experience in manufacturing (3+ years).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Hydraulic experience required; electrician experience a plus.
• Strong problem solving, troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills.
• Team player able to work independently.
• Good interpersonal communication.
• Excellent mechanical aptitude and technical skills.
• Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot machinery to minimize downtime.
• Assist in development and implementation of preventive maintenance programs and equipment upgrades.
• Record and document time, work orders, and parts usage in CMMS.
• Create work orders and assist planning of jobs and projects.
• Ensure work complies with health & safety legislation and GMPs.
