SWBC PEO is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee routine maintenance and repairs of facility equipment and systems, ensuring safe, reliable operation. The role can be performed independently or with a team and reports to the Senior Director of Manufacturing Excellence.

Responsibilities include inspecting, programming, and repairing machinery; performing preventative maintenance; maintaining records; and ensuring safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in maintenance manufacturing or engineering technology or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a maintenance or manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with PLCs, electrical systems, pneumatics and hydraulics.

Job Summary:

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and systems. This role ensures that all facility maintenance and on-site machinery are functioning properly and safely. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of maintenance procedures and be able to work independently or as part of a team. This position reports to the Senior Director of Manufacturing Excellence.

Supervisory Responsibilities: Maintenance Technician Staff

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Perform routine facility maintenance tasks, including inspecting, programming, and repairing machinery.


• Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure the longevity and efficiency of equipment.


• Respond to maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues promptly.


• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.


• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.


• Assist in the installation and set-up of new equipment.


• Monitor and maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and tools.


• Collaborate with other departments to address maintenance needs and improvements.


• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Technical proficiency in programmable logic controllers (PLC), general facility maintenance, and repair tasks.


• In depth knowledge of electrical, pneumatics, and hydraulics of machines.


• Good understanding of machine learning and IOT for machines.


• Strong experience in implementing low-cost automation projects.


• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.


• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.


• Ability to use various hand and power tools.


• Strong communication and teamwork skills.


• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if needed.

Education and Experience:

• Associate's degree in maintenance manufacturing or engineering technology, or a related field or equivalent experience.


• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a maintenance or manufacturing environment.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking.


• Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces.


• Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.
